Anyone have any experiences with this boat company. Do they make quality boats? Looking at the 2220CC.

Ive looked at them enough to find numerous examples of cracks in the gel coat where the inner liners meet the floor on brand new boats on dealers lot, not even rigged with engines yet. Not a good start. some cheesy plastic drainplugs (instead of $5 brass garboard drain) on some models, and hull/ liner is screwed together. Its your average cheap-0 boat thats made today, no better and no worse than 90% of whats out there.

Hi there-

A friend of mine runs a boat restoration facility in Northern Massachusetts. He is an official warranty repair facility for Mako...there is a dealer down the street that sells Makos and Key Wests. Anyway....he said he does a huge amount of warranty repairs on the Mako and next to nothing on the Key West's. He said they are a great boat and you'll save some dough on the purchase price.

Major Woods, Let me know how you like your new boat. I myself am looking at purching the bayreef 19ft boat. What kind of power were you going to put behind your boat? 2 or 4 stroke?
You can E-mail me @ Barnet33_99@yahoo.com
