keyswitch 704-82570-08-00
Wires Red female connector
Black male connector
Yellow female connector
Green female connector
need to install on new KM90TLR
cable bundle from bahamas installation
Key switch also has female 8 plug connector
May not have correct keyswitch
If red is connected with adaptor yellow positive when on but start not able to output positive

yellow is key on 12v,red is 12v anytime the battery is connected,green is tach send black is ground,blue is choke if used,brown is start,white is stop ,pink is alarm.
you may indeed have the wrong switch.
without seeing what you have its difficult to say.

the yamaha keyswicth works on two and four stroke yamahas.
the red lead to the batt term on the keyswitch,the yellow lead to ign the black to the M the white to the other M,blue goes to choke brown to the start. pink to the -side of the alarm horn. light blue is trim up,lt green is trim down.
dark green is tach send.
the command link does not have the green lead and its purchased as a kit.
on command link the ign harness has the green tach send lead,the keyswitch does not. if an external tach signal is needed the wire can be added.
