Kicker Brackett Removal

Hey all,

I am going to remove this bracket off the back of the boat. I believe it was added on because my old motor(89' 90 Johnson 90 Degree) was alot wider.

I have the 3m sealer, I am just looking for any suggestions or re-insurance that simply putting the bolts back in the wholes with the sealant will properly seal up , and I wont have water coming in.

As long as it is a good 3m sealant (not just silicone), stainless steel bolts, washer's,and loctnuts or lock washers....you should be fine.
