Kicker Mounting Problem

Hello everyone. I am having issues mounting a kicker to my 16' Smokercraft. There is room on the transom for it but the steering from my main motor hits the kicker mount.
I bought the panther static plate but now the steering will hit the kicker clamp.

I fish the big lake out of Grand Haven and would like to have the kicker for trolling purposes and as a backup.

When we talk about trolling motors we mean electric trolling motors.
