kicker prop question

I am using a 9.9hp 2 stroke Nissan as a kicker on my 17' Fisher Deep-V. The Nissan has a 3 blade prop and I am wondering if a different pitch or maybe a 4 blade prop would give it better bite at lower rpms?

*I fish several 10hp restricted lakes and I am having difficulty maneuvering tight spaces like the docks etc. when only using the 9.9. Also, I feel like the prop is "slipping" at high rpm's as it is not pushing the Fisher nearly as fast as it did the basstracker. I'm not really worried too much about top end, but I'd like to see if I can find a solution short of buying a new Yamaha high thrust 8hp or 9.9hp.

Re: kicker prop question

A 4 blade prop should provide more thrust, I just talked to me dealer a bout possible getting a 4 blade prop for my boat and he said I would better off with a 3 blade since I am trying to achive more speed.

Re: kicker prop question

Yeah, I'm not too worried about speed since the majority of the time it is used for trolling. But, I would like to see if there is a HUGE difference in low-speed handling. (Particularly going in reverse from a dead stop - like backing away from the ramp.) I know the high thrust Yamaha or Mercury 4-stroke would be the ultimate solution, just don't want to spend that kind of money right now. I figure for less than $100 if this gave me the ability to maneuver safely around the docks it will be well worth it.

This was what I was looking at on Cabela's website:
