Kill Switch refit

I would like to have a safety lanyard to operate a spring loaded kill switch like found on later engines. <br />Are there refits or after market products for the control box or other custom ways to accomplish this? Thanks,<br />Scott

Hey SCO,<br />There's probably somebody out there making after-market kill switches but I don't know who or where. We were putting kill switches or "suicide" switches in boats years before mfgs. We used a single pole single throw paddle switch with a big paddle, drilled a hole in the paddle for the lanyard and mounted the switch so if you un-assed the boat, it would close the circuit and kill the engine. Wire it parallel with the ingition switch.<br /><br />g'luck & c/6<br /><br />Hooty
