I was at the lake this weekend and because of a new kill switch lanyard, I unintentionally activated the kill switch about 3 times over two days. The fourth time I reset the kill switch, started to motor, shifted into gear and it would only go about 2000 RPMs full throttle. Any advice/thoughts?

Welcome
There has to be more going on than just the kill switch. Most likely will need to scan motor for codes

Thanks. I took it to Bass Pro and they said the cause was a neutral overspeed fault. Corrective action, cleared fault. I haven't taken it to the lake yet, so I trust that fixed the problem. Sound right?

Every time I’m confronted by a beautiful woman, I stall out in neutral.
