17ft pro crappie with tracker marine 50 elp o/b slept in barn for 6 months winterized (oiled cylinders, fogged carbs, etc). no bad history with engine. boat was launched and ran great. on way back to dock lost throttle control. would not come down with rpms. start switch was operable to kill engine during the "hot load". back at the house boat would not shut down with key running @ 4-5k rpm no load, pulled kill switch with no resolve. buried throttle to drown/stall engine. I know where to begin but don't know where this will lead. has anyone ever seen this? right at start of season too. hope your troubles have been few. thanks in advance. 8

aye aye. had jr. manipulate throttle while not running. all linkages looked to be secure. when it warms a bit i will start opening throttle at the helm, check kill switch then look at fuses. thanks
