Re: Kinda a feel good topic - what folks in what state the nicest you've experienced?
I haven't been to all of 'em yet, but so far, it's Alaska hands down in the States.
And I have to second, or third, New Zealand for my limited world travels. We were there last year and just could not believe the hospitality. We stayed mostly in "bachs" and at one of them they left the door open for our late arrival and left a note saying putting the money in the ice box when you leave. Felt like we had stepped back in time.
