Hi all, this spring i bougth a bowrider, Century Raven 195BR with a Mercruiser 3.7l, Now I?ve started it for the first time, and there is a distinct knocking, sounds in all gears, the more rpm the more sound
There is compression in the engine and it runs fine.
I recently changed impeller as I got no cooling water during the first start on land (I did not run the engine varm), the old impeller was half, so I guess the old owner has been running it hot.
What can this be?
