Time for me to replace my pads and I'm wondering if there is a automotive equivalent to the kodiak 225 pads. If there is, is there any difference in using those pads vs buying from kodiak?

I just googled Kodiak 225 and got 8 different options for brake pads , we even sell them here in NZ.

Automotive doesn't need to live in salt water. The Kodiak brakes are unique to the marine industry

Yes , I never said otherwise , but it would seem other brake pad makers supply pads for the Kodiak 225 marine brakes .
They are sold here in NZ and while I can see they offer cast stainless and Dacromet coated calipers for hi corrosion resistance they are not dedicated to marine only applications , they supply kits here for all sorts of trailers .
They certainly seem to be a quality piece of kit .
