labor day is coming on fast

I have a 1986 Yamaha 150 precision blend outdoard model 150etlj.
At the start of this season first outing boat ran like crap, started, and idled fine but would not come up on plane, or rev over 3000 under load.
Went home cleaned the carbs, installed a fuel filter and replaced fuel lines, went back to the lake and engine was Hard to start cold. I Think the idle adjustment is off any help will be appreciated.

You need to follow the link and sync steps in the Yamaha service manual every time after reinstalling the carbs.
If carbs are cleaned properly and set to specs in manual then it should run OK
might need a fine adjustment to pilot screws, but not more than the +or- listed in specs
