QC where is Sandy Cove. We launch at South Cove and beach at Sandy Point. We have a place in Meadview and love it out there.

bucky7680,

Sandy Cove is a looong way from Sandy Point. It is in the Boulder Basin just east of Callville Bay, probably 50 miles from South Cove. If the weather is good, we head your direction. I've spent a lot of time at Sandy Point 8) If you like it there you would probably not like Sandy Cove. Much more crowded in the Boulder Basin although that is still nothing compared to other lakes . . .

That was cool!

We've did that at Sandy Point about 20 years ago and used a typical 12v water pump to get the water up there.

It looks like you probably had a larger gpm pump than we did.

Hey voltage boy. Nice to have you aboard! Where in SoCal? This was actually on Fox and Friends just yesterday morning (weird that this bone has been dug up the same day) and they were calling it Havasu . . . I almost emailed them as they were asking where it was, but I ran out of time.

We're at Havasu next weekend and are really missing Mead right now. What route do you take? I have launched at Temple Bar about 3 or 4 times, but we usually hang at the Hacienda and run to Mushroom Reef. Do you have a place there?

Hey QC

Wow, that was some coincidence. I wish I would have seen it.

I go by the Hacienda all the time on the way out there. I live in Rancho and have a place in T-Bar. We go 15 to Nipton through Searchlight usually. Only a few miles longer but about the same amount of time without all the traffic.

I've probably seen you at the beach by Mushroom Reef as that's where you can usually find us since since those beaches showed up:cool:

We'll be there next weekend. Have a great time in Havasu!:p

Yeah, we usually go Nipton Searchlight as well. I am going to be there (Hacienda) around the 18th, coming from Havasu.

We actually love Havasu . . . I'll think of your raz when I am cruising the Channel  ;) :D
