I assume that you are up to speed on what Ameren requires?

I thinks it's encapsulated. I did mine two years ago. Beyond that, what are the requirements? It's in Anthony Cove.

Good to see so many Ozark boaters! I love my little place on Anthony Cove. I just retired from the Army so I think I may spend my summer up there.

I'll be up there next month. What are the water levels like? Kinda wondering if my dock and lift is going to be usable.

Sorry if I just hijacked a thread. Maybe I could start a LOTO Thread.

Hey Da - other than the permit costs, unless already completed, the most expensive item would be the new electrical requirements. Depending upon what you have now, it cost over a grand to get all the electrical up to snuff.

Lake levels have been up (over 660) due to recent heavy rains, but are coming back down. One big issue to watch out for is another round of flotsam. Not only the occasional 2x4 or 2x6, but whole trees in some areas.

According to KRMS, surface water temps are 84 degrees.

The flotsam has been horrible since this past rain. I jammed up the speedo pitot Wednesday night when we were out. After we got back I pulled 4 or 5 big chunks of unencapsulated foam out of the water near our dock. One of them was so big and waterlogged I thought I was gonna fall in trying to pull it out of the water. Things are definately warming up though.

Hijacking threads happens. :D

Maybe there should be some sort of iboats LOTO meet up or something. I know the FL people have an annual gathering. Of course that's easy for me to say...we live here all the time.

We had our dock re-scured and properly wired a couple of years ago. It did cost about $1500 but at least our dock isn't electrocuting people anymore. I did our foam with the kind help of a neighbor. That was still about $3000.

My BIL was just at his place next to ours. He said all of our walkways are under water. I guess the level is really up. At least I should be able to get the boat off the lift this year.
