Lake Perris, CA

Ive heard reports that this lake has been drained of alot of its water but i havent found anywhere online to say if its still accessible or if you can still boat on it? Has anyone been on it recently and have any reports on conditions?

JerrfyLube......I was just their on Super Bowl Sunday. I went to specifically test out my new prop and trim tabs. Lake Perris is still open for use, although it is very low and very boring. You can no longer cruise around the island at full throttle, it is buoyed off and now a no wake zone. Now it will just take a few minutes to do a full circle at full trottle. I would not recommend this lake unless your close by and wanting to test or run the boat as I did. However my son and I did get lucky with several trout that day and we hadn't planned on fishing but we brought the tackle and I'm glad we did. I would rather take it to Silverwood Lake next time.

Luckily I called there before going out there. You might want to call before going there. I had to have a reservation to launch the boat. Only so many boats allowed on the lake since its low.
