Lake Tuscaloosa, Alabama?

I am planning on trying out Lake Tuscaloosa with my family this weekend. Any advice on where to get nautical charts (if available), where to go, or where to avoid? I plan on using the public ramp on the northwest side.

I'm not familiar at all with that lake, but you might find detailed fishing maps at marinas or outdoor stores in the area. They usually have depictions of water depth and bottom structure. I use them for all the lakes here in Kentucky.
