Lame fire extinguisher- Great customer service

At the start of last season, late May-early June, I went to Wal Mart & paid $30 for a nice new, shiny white fire extinguisher. The one that was in the boat when I bought it was still showing good on the gauge, but it looked like crap, all beat up from years of being in the boat. Well, I'm starting to get my equipment ready for this season & I looked at the new, shiny white fire extinguisher & the gauge read "Empty".:confused: I thought a new extinguisher should last a little longer than that. I did a google search on Kidde. When I found the "contact us" icon I sent an email explaining the issue that I only had it since last June & did not think I needed to hold onto the store receipt. They replied within an hour or so. They told me it should last for a very long time, more than a few months & they will send me a new one in a few business days at no charge. Just thought I'd share a good experience & great customer relationship services.
