Greetings All.<br />I recently purchased a new laptop (yay), its and hp zx6130. Anyway, its a widescreen, so naturally finding a case is hard. I have a targus case, that, if you stretch it around, the laptop fits, however I am worried about strain. I don't have to push really hard, and I wouldn't think a case could damage it, but it would ease my mind to have a second opinion. Thax in advance :) .

There are larger laptop cases available of course, for larger/wider laptops. The main thing to consider is protection against shock. By jamming your laptop into an undersized bag, the padding is compressed too, which offers little shock protection.

I have a Dell with a widescreen and it came with a nice case. If you are not brand dedicated look at dell. I am sure targus also makes one.

My son and I both use book bags from Walmarat. Have for years. Laptop cases are just a red flag for theft.

Exactly what I use. It's a book bag, but it's made for a laptop. It has all the extra pockets in it for storage and it's padded heavy. A snap to carry at airports and when traveling. Dell makes it, other companys may as well. It's big enough to hold a large laptop.
