Larson Purchased by Irwin Jacobs

Just saw where Larson and three other brands were purchased by former Genmar CEO, Irwin Jacobs. He also purchased the plant in Little Falls, Minnesota and the VEC technology along with it. He stated that he hoped to rehire all employees that were laid off in the last 18 months. He also stated that all warranties on boats purchase before and during the Bankruptcy would be honored by the new company J & D Acquisitions. His new partner is billionaire John Paul DeJoria who, according to Forbes, is the 65th richest man in the US. They also got Seaswirl, Triumph and Finn Craft. Nice to see that Larson will make it well past 100 years!
