Have you guys tried putting a towbar on the front of your SUV, it is so simple to lunch your boat the the wife can even do it with no worries! (obviously a towbar will look stupid on a sport car but fine on a landrover)

hmm this is somewhat of a rare case but when loading or unloading by yourself (no one else in the vehicle) a wheel chock or rock or wood whatever you find/have can be useful. More then once ive known people to have the car and boat go for a swim.

Hear you on the trees.<br /><br /><br />Only once in many 10's of years of boating did I see a submerged car/trailer. Yes, it took them awhile to get it out because of the "lip" at the end of the concrete. The car got caught on it and the tow truck couldn't pull it out.<br /><br />Don't know how it came out. We went to a different ramp and had a nice time.<br /><br />Mark
