Lay up question

Maybe I've overlooked it,but when laying up,wetting out underside of a new deck (1/2"ply)--would you try to wrap the edges?? Csm don't wrap or do sharp edges so fine for me. Once deck is installed,it should be sealed up pertty good anyhow with the filled cracks,and top coat of glass.Right??thax

Dude,

You are correct. As long as you are totally sealing the edge with a PB mix and/or fiberglass after you install, you should be okay. Some guys here like to leave a few inches of the mat extended beyond the edge and then when they invert the pieces and install the deck that extra glass comes up along the sides and can then be used as tabbing to the hull.
