does anyone know if it is ok to use lead free on 1979 model yam 28? as it's a two stroke i.e. no valves it shouldn't matter right? or should it? can someone confirm? many thanks
tazzy,<br /><br />Outboards do not require lead, or lead substitutes, in the fuel. There are no valves or seats to lubricate.<br /><br />Just use 87 octane and a good TCW-3 oil.
