I had a small leak on this boat for 5 yrs never find it. I finally decided tto look below the console where the fuel tank is located. I cut the tank liner out and found a crack about 6 inches long that is situated over the trailer bunk, also found that it had been repaired at one time but not comleted under the tank. This has caused a layer of the wovwn mats to seperate so I,m losing strengh in that section on the hull. My question is should I remove loose are and remat or can I fill the section with epoxy and try readhere them. Any suggestions would be great. Sorry for the long post

I suspect you know the answer to that. Filling a crack with something like Marine Tex will do little to restore the structural integrity to the hull. Do it right - -
