I own a 1980 Pacemaker, 26 ft Cabin (love her) with 2 inboard Volvo Penta engines. My problem is that one of the fuel tanks is leaking and now while its out of the water I would like to replace/remove it. Could anyone tell me if it is possible to remove this tank WITHOUT removing the engine. I would apreciate any helpful suggestion.

Re: Leaking fuel tank

Usually fuel tanks are seperated from engine compartment. I did my leaking fuel tank ( aluminium ), by applying special tank glassfibre in 3 layers on outside, after applying a thin layer of specialprimer. After that it was leakproof. I can recommend this treatment.
