Hey Gents, what are your thoughts on removing pressure relief screw on trim cyl? Mine is leaking, and appears to have a C-clip in there to remove the screw. Is there any way I can replace the gasket or O-ring ?? Just take all the wait off?? Thank you

Your midsection should have some type of trailering lock, to hold the engine in the up position while you trailer the boat. Use that to take the load off the trim system while you remove the manual release valve. A block of wood also works.

You may have it up or down, does not matter. But as you need to refill oil after the change it makes it easier to have it in a locked UP position. Just check that you have full access to the screw in the slot, it does not always line up.
