Hey everyone, I just noticed I have some fluid either oil or other, lining the underside of the engine, and it's also run down the inside of the leg. Not sure exactly what it is.

Last week I left the engine in the up position for a couple days and when I went to lower it I had nothing, no buzzing, no trying to drop, nothing. Both the trim button on the side and the button on the controls showed nothing in regards to working. I thought maybe a fuse so I went to open the cowling and take a look around, but once I took the cowling off and tried it, the tilt trim worked just fine. Not sure about that?

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas on the leaking fluid, and or the tilt trim,, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I've included a couple pictures.

UPDATE

I took it out for a run today to test the trim and everything worked fine during the run. Trimmed up and down no problem, good power, etc etc. Brought it back to the dock, trimmed it all the way up, braced it with the bracket and drove it home as usual. When I got it home I tried to drop it to drain like I usually do, but nothing from the trim button again (same with the trim button on the throttle). No trim action, no nothing, completely dead.

So I turned the screw to drop the engine, and then tightened it up. After I had it dropped, I tried the trim again and it worked just fine. So now it works, but when it was trimmed right up to transport, it didn't work after I got it home.

Not sure what's going on here, any ideas?

Thanks!
