has anyone ever used MARINE 5200 ADHESIVE / SEALANT or Marine Tex Epoxy Flexset to seal up the boat of a aluminum boat.Mine leaks a little and I don't want to have to use Gulvit do to the fact that I don't want to paint over it yet.I want to do that in the fall when I stripe the whole bottom and redo the boat then. Will this last the summer with what I want to do with the epoxy or adhesive/sealant.Whats the best thing to do.
Thanks for all the help.

Re: leaks in boat

I have used it on a fiberglass boat and it works well. Have you thought about using J-B Weld? I would think it would work better for you.

The boat is leaking a little from the bottom runners. It looks like it also leaks from a couple of rivits but they aren't loose.

Yes 3m5200 will work..... I would try to re-buck the rivets before the 3m5200. Make sure it is real clean and use at little as possible. Gluvit is probably the best fix and it is available in smaller quanities too.
