Leaky Jon Boat

[Catch 'em all]

I have a mid 80's Polar Kraft aluminum jon boat. Riveted. Everytime I'm on the water, at the end of the day, I have to pull the drain plug out of the back and it pours out like Niagara for about 60 seconds. I've been told that's just one of the joys of owning a jon boat. Is this a big deal? Anything I can do about it?

put water inside and watch for leaks on the out side. it is possible to tighten rivets suggest you post this in the boat repair forum. you can also coat the outside with a product called Gulvit, sold in the iboats mega mall.
