Re: Lean Sneeze

It's normal to get a lean sneeze when the engine is cold. Keep choking it every so often to reduce the sneezing-usually for a minute or so. Once the engine warms, the sneezing should stop.

mine has a lean sneeze only for a split second when you first start it. but it idles fine and runs out good, it has done it since I purchased the boat 4 years ago

Re: Lean Sneeze

I had the boat out all day on Saturday for our annual Gasparilla Invasion here in Tampa. Since I was assigned as a Manatee control boat I had the perfect opportunity to basically break in my rebuild. The first three hours or so were at idle speed 800rpm, in gear, and she purred just fine. Finally had the opportunity to open it up and with four people and gear onboard she picked up and ran great! Looks like its going to be another great year of boating in Tampa Bay!

congrats..it's satisfying to know you can do it and do it well! < speaking strictly of the nautical things here, but I suppose it could apply to other areas as well >
