to me this doesnt look normal. this was the first time we have had the boat in the water and when i took the pictures from behind he boat sitting in the water this is what i saw... if you are standing inside the boat, facing outward towards the engine, you have a full 3 gallon oil tank on your right side, the bilge pump in the middle, and a heavy duty marine battery on the left side. i dont know what could cause it to lean like this. the boat has no gear in it except for 8 life jackets which would not weigh enough to make a difference. also my gas tank is 23 gallons and this was pic was taken with less than 10 gallons in the tank. i have no clue where it is located either...maybe its on the left causing it to lean?

It looks pretty slight, not really abnormal. You have to remember that all of the controls and steering wheel and gauges and all of the wiring and hardware behind the dash add some weight to that side of the boat, and with the battery on top of that I bet it could cause that. Battery is probably 45 - 50 pounds, so that would dip that back corner. My boat always sits a little deeper on the starboard side, stern.

thanks for the quick reply...i was also thinking about that as well with all of the controls, wiring steering wheel, ect..but i just dont like how it looks. i might add some weight to the other side to counter the added weigh on the right side..

Add gas and it'll probably straighten up some. Empty deep-V hulls are more likely to show a little list than one that is loaded up.

Kelly Cook

I would not add any weight to the boat. Boats have a habit of gaining that themselves.

I would just stow as much of my gear as possible on the Port side.

By the way, your fuel tank is probably in the floor-middle.

I would be more concerned that it runs fairly level at speed.Keep in mind prop torque will tend to lift the starboard side. That is why the steering station is on that side.Just wondering did it take 3 years to notice the problem?Or 3 years to get the pictures developed?
