Too darn spensive. :D

Normal lights don't eat that much juice anyway.

I dont have LED anchor or running lights on my boat, YET. I do have other LED courtsey light tho. They have more lumins than regular lights, last a lot longer, and dont use near the power. I would say they are a great up-grade.

Re: LED Anchor/Navigation lights

I updated my nav lights about 3 years ago. I still need to do my all-around light yet. The one you pictured is what I need to finish my upgrade.

I used red leds and green leds for my nav lights. They seem to be brighter than the standard bulb that was in them. It does cut down on the amount of current draw for sure.

I soldered mine in and now there is no problem of a loose connection.

Where did you find that? I want to replace my regular bulb with an LED version. I fish at night and would love to reduce my power usage as much as possible. I have to leave the anchor light on all night and the LED would cut my power consumption. Let me know where you found that and what the price is. I haven't seen them anywhere.

UFM82

If its the same one I saw on ebay then its a good buy, LED's last practicly forever, brighter than regular bulbs they have a super low load, and the filament in regular bulbs can break if they bounce around to much, but not in LED's. but make sure it'll work first before buying it
