Re: Led

I bought a LED kit that had a new wire-harness with it, so I re-ran all the wire on mine. I could have just used the existing wire, but figured I would use new stuff when it's available. I also went with all new marker & turn LED's.
LOVE THEM

Re: Led

Gotta love the look of LED's just upgraded to them on my boat trailer last year, now I want to find a set of the three little red lights that are submersible LED lights for the back of the trailer, and it'll look really nice.

As stated it is a straight change and you will love them.

The old incandecent ones were terrible, weak low light always had probelms with them.

I have had LEDs on for 3 years now with out a single problem and they are alot safer being super brite

I bought 3 red LED's & 6 amber LED's on EBAY for around $25. Just type in " boat trailer LED " and there are a ton to choose from.

I just swapped out my old lights with LED's. You can get the three light LED bar at NAPA. I purchased all my LEDS from them.

We finally got some LED's lights on our trailer. First time to the lake someone stole them. :( Wont be getting anymore or those anytime soon.

Re: Led

Just make sure you have a good, solid ground, both on the trailer and to your tow vehicle. It will make your life easier.

Once you go LED, you will never go back.

Re: Led

For those that changed to LEDs, is it just a bulb replacement? Or did you replace the entire enclosure that houses the bulb?

Re: Led

They come in a sealed casing. To swap out, unplug the existing light and plug in the LED's... You will not be changing bulbs, rather the entire light.
