GREAT..............Another Happy Customer............
You do have to be careful with a lot of these electronics coming out of China. Some are manufactured under good quality control and are reliable, and some are not.
You can't go wrong with a Blue Sea or any other brand name marine switch. It costs a few bucks more, but they're waterproof and will last a lifetime.

Re: LED's

I don't buy the switch as being the problem. A switch does not "let electricity through" a little bit. A switch by nature is either ON or OFF. I have used and installed hundreds of switches (all different configurations and manufacturers) and have never had a switch act the way you are describing. I would bet something else is the cause of your problem.

Actually it happens quite often, but usally not how he's describing. Normally you can see a high resistance connection in a switch that has either had the contacts melted internally, or more commonly a switch where the contacts have arched and there is now soot on the contacts making a high impediance connection in the closed connection.

These are the only times I've ever seen a switch "kindof" close a circuit.

Led's are a bit of a monster all their own, and can do funny things with sub par components.

Re: LED's

Is the switch illuminated or do you havve an illuminator that indicates the switch is on? If so the illuminator will pass enough current to illuminate the LEDS.
