happy monday, so I experienced something new this weekend, met a boat coming in on us at 90 degrees so I drop the rpms down from 34-3600?rpm to 22-2400rpm? to see what the other guy was going to do, he slowed as well and waved us on. took 20-30 seconds max, throttled up and then steering wheel starts wobbling left to right till we got back on plane.
Was this from the wake catching up with us as we accelerated?

and to add the boat has twin legs

I would surmise Yes. Your following wake grabbed hold of the outdrives at a speed faster than you were accelerating. All of course IMHO.
