Nice small snow storm going on..... a crisp 19 degrees..... should last into tomorrow with a small total under 10"

Then comes this Sunday ...... predicted to be a Noreaster!!!! Now that's not enjoyable!

we were looking to get 4-6" from same storm. Snow/rain line moved up about 20-30 miles and we got about 1" of the white stuff and now its just raining. I always love the first good snow...will have to wait and see what Sat brings.

Well it's been snowing all day here, with some sleeting in the middle, mostly snow globe stuff,,, just looked out the window, it's dusk, and the flakes are as big as butterflies now, maybe a good 6" so far, who knows how much we'll get?, maybe 10", was out with the snowblower twice already.

you guys are only just getting your first snow. ours was in October. and i dont think its been above freezing sense, yesterday was the closest sense then at 31 degrees its still all on the ground. there calling for -3 tonight wich is a warmer night than some of the nights we had last week at -15

Here we have little snow. If we have 2 3 to 4 inch snows we are lucky.After 2o years with the school system let me say that even a little ice or snow CLOSES up the entire school system with over 100 schools and 12 hundred buses.

Wow.

The snows have seemed to miss SW Michigan the last few years, although memory of 24" snows is still there... Last weekend we had about 2", but for the past several days it's been freezing rain, so all the snow's melted. Problem is, it all runs off and lake and river levels are all down so much. This fall freighters have run aground trying to get into Muskegon and Holland harbors.
