I have an evinrude 25 hp engine moldel number is 2552B seriel number is Eooo364. I am trying to find out the year.

I looked at a couple of places and the closest I can find to that model # is model# 25552 which is a 1975 25hp evinrude. I searched back to 1913 to present and that model # is not listed as a evinrude model (at least not 25hp) Sorry I couldnt be more help.

Doesn't match anything in my model year guide. Even if the B were a 3 or 8. 25526 is a 1956 30Hp. A 1975 hood would be fiberglass, a 1956 would be metal.

Tech..... Look closely at that model number of 2552B as there is no such number that I can find in my OMC Guide Booklet.

There are model numbers that start out as 2552_ BUT no "B". It must be a number.

Perhaps a number has been transposed somewhere. Let us know.
