Sad part in all this is a buddy and I are at the game, and we were talking about how it seemed in the playoffs last year, every time Franzen touch the puck, he put it in the net. It was 2-1 Ottawa at that point.
Gotta learn to shut my mouth sometimes.

yea the wings sure looked a lot better to night then they did thur, passing well , keeping there heads up hockey !! Ottawa played a good game , hard hitting , they had there chances also !! John
My observations of that game come down to the fact that I don't think Detroit should've signed Hossa. Don't get me wrong, I'm a hug Hossa fan (ever since his first game in Ottawa) however I believe in not fixing what isn't broken.
He didn't seem to be much of an impact last night.
We'll see if he earns his keep. Feel bad for Pittsburgh as the spent a lot at the deadline for him and now they're without him or the trades they gave up to get him.
