1. Yes. This makes the upper gear the forward gear.

2. Remove the rear shift mechanism cover and look inside. There should be a decal explaining how to swap the vertical rod to the Port side for RH prop rotation. Put the shift unit and eccentric piston into neutral, and readjust the length of the rod if needed.

3. Probably none. I believe that some have better luck countering LH prop torque due to the 270/275 style exhaust outlet and trim fin arrangement. You might be better off to stay with the LH prop.

Ayuh,... Props cost more, 'n are harder to find....

In case the decal is missing in your back cover, below is how to reverse the rotation.

Unlike other drive manufacturers, the Volvo single props for the AQ series RH and LH props are quite common and equally easy to find and are priced the same.

Do some more research.
LH is better than switching to RH.
Besides boat handling different, you'll have to adjust the steering fin.
The cone may have a tendency to unscrew

Not going to happen. The drives were designed to go both directions.
