Well Eric, that is no surprise to me. Did you have your blended lenses on? ;) If you look at the email I sent you you will see it at the bottom of the snail mail address I sent you. Perhaps the powers that be have decided to take it down. Maybe the email I replied to was from another Eric. ;) You did notice that he mentioned you by name in his reply to me. I will check the profile and see if "I can see it". :^ If I can when I see you I will give you twenty lashes with a wet noodle. ;)Edit It has been taken down. You have been spared a gross injustice;)

Oh yeah, I see it now. Thanks for showing me the light, once again! What reply to you? Nothing in the email, you said you hadn't heard from him yet.

Is it you who needs the wet noodle lashing? 8) Maybe your misses will do it:devil:

I can stand it if you can. You saw and I can't see it now. Maybe the same evil poltergeist that was deleting my posts is now installing and unistalling Toms' email address. Did you or did you not send an email to yea who1 at Yahoo.com. If you did I replied to it so just remain patient it should be there before the new software is installed. ;) for the slow learners it is all together and the at is an @. :loveandkisses: BTW have you read the first edited post in this thread. If you haven't read it - it should answer a lot of questions.

As soon as I get his number I'll give him a call. In the mean time Tom if you see this I'll tell you what I know about it...

If you got the cable from Verizon, it should come with software to get you online according to what I read. If not, the cable will just come with drivers. In the case of the latter, the phone is installed as a modem in your computer. Once it's installed, you create a dialup connection and choose your phone as the modem. Since you use AOL you'll have to step through the connection setup process and choose your phone as the modem and go from there.

We tried this several years ago with a generic cable from Radio shack and our Bellsouth Dialup account. This was done on the wife's MAC laptop. It worked, but was about 1/2 as fast as regular dialup for us. Maybe it was just the Mac drivers idunno but she never used it much after that.

Anyway, shoot me a PM with Tom's number and I'll give him a call. The number Ray gave me wouldn't go through when I tried.

Hang in there buddy.

I sent some of you the wrong area code. The actual number is correct. don't know if there is even an area code like the one I sent. 410 is the correct one.

I just talked to Tom and he is back online, but can not read the text here because it's to small. He seems to be in good spirit. Let's keep the prayers going for him!

I was about to call when I read this. Is he using his cell phone or still at the library?

Re: Life ain't fair, but God is good.(updated)

Seems to be a great deal of confusion here. My understanding was that the connection at the Library didn't afford a connection to I boats. My understanding is that he is getting a special rate for the disabled thru
Verizon. I have been holding off voice communication until he has had time to get everything in order or make a specific request. He has my number and initially said that he wanted to limit calling and connecting to the weekend minutes. Edit: Just got an email from Tom he confirms the fonts on iboats are a problem. He will need some time to work it out. Going for an MRI tomorrow.

I just sent him a really large font email. Has anybody mentioned that he can increase the font size in IE?

Edit: Never mind that works on everything but the actual message :|
