Congratulations to you and your wife on such a handsome addition to the family. Looks like a healthy big boy! No wonder Mom went through 21 hours of labor!

Congratulations! You are right in saying that this is 'life's new meaning." My son is 19 months old now and my life has never been more full. Enjoy him every chance you get!

Wow, what a beautiful baby boy. He looks like he's 3 months old for Pete's sake. Need more info i.e. weight, length, etc. :)

I labored for 28 hours with mine and she was worth every minute of it.

Congrats! :)

Parenthood is lifes greatest challenge and lifes greatest joy.

I had my four children with spouses, six of my eight grandbuddies (2 more spouses) and the LOML here for the weekend to celebrate the October Birthday cluster. It is a contest to see if I feel more fortunate or more humble.

Your descendants are your immortality. Congratulations to you and the Mrs.

Well thank you all for the kind words. We are Awefully Proud of him.

Now to answer a few question...

Roscoe: My wife and I firmly beleive that carseats on a boat are a death trap on a boat. He will have his own life jacket. With the ammount of time we hope to spend with him out on the water he should be skiing by 2....

Ladyfish: weight was 8lbs and 4oz length was 21 3/4"

Everyone keeps telling me that my life will change dramatically. Im not so sure of that!! Yeah I might eat a few more chicken mcnuggets and drink a few more juice boxes but, we do feel that we should envolve him in most parts of our lives. Manly trips to the hardware store, drooling at the A/V store, Community Service and helping others.

I agree with the car seat theory. I've used the baby carry thingy in the boat before with infants. It's the most comfortable place for them. They all seemed to enjoy it (fell asleep every time).

Congrats.

Be careful, the years do go by fast. Don't waste any minute of them. You never get them back.
