Is there a "hook" or other lifting device available to hoist an engine? Specifically, I want to hoist a 1985(?) Merc. 60 hp. There seems to be a large internal thread in the center of the flywheel that looks like it might accommodate such an animal, but without checking first, I don't want to screw anything up. If this is the way to go, is this a common thread (looks similar to a 1" IP thread, but haven't tried anything out yet. Or is this something I need to make? Or am I all wet behind the prop?
