Greetings all..question. I want to repaint my 89 Bayliner Capri 195 from the factory bloe/grey to all white and wondered how would I go about painting the grey below the water line? I did some reswarch and strange as it sounded to me it was reccomended to ROLL on the paint with a no-nap paint roller instead of a gun..sounded weird to me. Anyones thoughts on this? I had thpight of leaving the lower half grey..takin it in to a shop and having the who;e thing shot bright white but if I can roll it...hmmm. So how do I go about painting the lower half? Thanks for the help!!

Do a search for "roll and tip". It is a great and safe way to apply marine paint and get very good results.

There is lots of great advice in forums.
I built heavy sawhorses and 4 of us fliped my 15' 1965 starcraft over to paint with a rubber roller than feather lighly with a good soft brush, takes bubbles out if any.
Good Luck:CodyG
Michael... I fish in wet water
