Light brown water from Exhaust

I ran my 5.7 Merc A 1 today on muffs after sitting for 2 weeks. I noticed light brown water come out of exhaust at first then it cleared up in less than 1 min. I flush for at least 15 min after my outings on the ICW. Engine seems to run smooth otherwise. 4k+ rpm.

Is this normal?

Yea, run oil thru the cooling system, then NEVER get it near the water again.

Being from West Palm Beach and the great salt sea - it doesn't matter what you do - it will rust. Flushing it will help, but everything will rust and need to be replaced eventually.

or you could find some stainless risers and change to a full fwc system.

depending on model? umm.. it's for my 5.7 merc. No need for upgrade except for possibly closed cooling when the engine is toast.
