Light Tick...

When i start my motor there is no tick but when it warms up for a little it starts ticking but very light if I put the hood on you cant even hear it what so ever... What could it be???

vacuum leak, valve sticking, rocker, lifter, exhaust leak, alternator, water pump bearing, spark jumping wire to block, distributor bushing, fuel pump....

All that stuff would only happen when the motor warms up? Shouldn't some of it be happening all the time whether the motor is warm or not..

Ayuh,.... Any of 'em could be the issue, hot or cold...

Try to narrow down where it's comin' from with a broom stick...
