Lights and 12v outlet won’t work unless engine is on

I’m a new boater and not mechanically inclined, so forgive me in advance if this is a simple problem. My lights and 12v outlet only work when the engine is on. The bilge bump and blowers work fine while the engine is off. I have a 2006 Tahoe 215 deck boat with a Mercruiser 4.3l engine. Is there a wire that connects the battery to these components?

Yes there is a wire that connects those components, hopefully thru a fuse or breaker panel.
