Hope they dont stop making my center slider balsa wood floats. That would suck if they did.

Don't think thats a possibility Nate.. Thill brand slip-floats will be around a good while.<br /><br />I'm a lil' biased too when it comes to 'em.<br /><br />-- say, give the 'Stealth' series a try with the Crappies.. or have ya?

The stealth is a good series, but everytime I try to use one I have problems getting the line to slide through after I make a cast.

I've had it happen too.<br /><br />If you're using a bead between the stop and the float try leaving it off next time - maybe the resistance thing against the water.<br /><br />Not enough weight with heavier line?<br /><br />Line getting twisted around the float stem on the cast?<br /><br />Seems to be that 'balancing' those things is key. I really like 'em.

Brainerd is "town" for me... the big one 25 miles south, kinda cool. It's a small world after all! Can ya imagine them guys all in a boat, if I were a fish i'd be nervous!
