Line Snubbers - Which Ones

[Uncork-n-Unwind]

There seem to be some "new" style snubbers on the market. Any thoughts on which ones to purchase?

I have a 25' cruiser - 5300lb dry weight with 5/8" line.

Option 1: Davis Dock Line Snubber:

Option 2: Seasense Mooring Snubber

Option 3: Taylor Mooring Snubber

Option 4: "Bungie style snubbers"

I know everyone here is opinionated.. please chime in!

I've never used snubbers. I guess I don't understand what makes them useful.

I wonder if we can get this thread going again. I like rafting to a slightly larger boat and the jerking we get is annoying. The lines are as tight as possible and we use plenty of fenders but still get jerking. A snubber looks like a great solution.
