Livewell Light color

I’ve been adding some LED lights inside my boat for nighttime fishing. I’m looking to add some to my livewell to see better as it is black plastic. Wondering what color would be best?


Thinking of red or blue…..not wanting it to be too harsh?

Well I know red is best for keeping your night vision. I suggest getting rgb LED to change colours as you see fit.

I know someone that used one low watt white light for his. He mounted under a flap so to speak so it pointed down. Wasn't to bright to mess up night vision.
Yes red works best for our night vision, but does make seeing things a bit difficult.
Dim blue could work and make seeing things a bit easier.
