I take the opposite view. The one on the right looks like it has a screen or perforated cap on it which makes it the livewell inlet. The screen or perforations is to prevent sucking debris into the pump. when you flip the livewell switch, the pump pulls water into the pump and sends it up a pipe or tube to the livewell spray head which is usually adjustable for volume. Here is where livewells differ. Some have a drain in the bottom. If that's what you have, you need a plug or a standpipe that fits in the hole. The pipe is like the pipe in your toilet tank. When water gets so high, it overflows out the drain. If the livewell has an overflow out the side, then you simply insert a plug in the drain and the water level will rise until it runs out the side. The hole on the left of the transom may be the bilge drain. Stick your finger in it and if it merely passes into the engine bay, that's what it is. You need to plug it or you will sink the boat.
