location for water pressure gauge 225

I bought the gauge, instructions don't tell where to install adapter into block ,adapter did not come with info for install.does anyone know where the adapter fits into the block on a 1989 yami 225 excel

This is what the Accessory Guide say's:<br /><br />"NOTE: On the V4 and V6 be sure to the water pressure sensor is installed on the port side.<br />If it is installed on the starboard side, the sensor tube could break or bend."<br /><br />The plug to remove is located on top of the cylinder block near the cylinder head.<br />I remember that the plug comes off with a 14mm wrench.

if its been in saltwater you will probably break the plug. be very careful. <br /> good luck and keep posting

thanks , got the plug out no problem ,just backed out slowly.
